Lubna Rafiq Academy helps in raising £780 for Pakistan Flood Appeal at the WSFG Charity Auction

Walthamstow School for Girls organised a charity fundraising auction on Saturday 2nd April 2011, and managed to raise a further £3000 in their ongoing humanitarian aid project, supporting victims of the terrible 2010 floods in Pakistan. This brings the school's fundraising grand total to £11,500, an excellent contribution.

Lubna Rafiq Academy was honoured to participate in this appeal by donating a complimentary LRA 3 Day Intensive Training Course, with a RRP value of £1,500, to the highest bidder at the auction, with all funds going to the charity pot.

The LRA 3 Day Intensive Course managed to raise £780 on Saturday by the highest bidder, and LRA looks forward to welcoming the lucky winner to the academy very soon!

LRA would like to extend a special thanks to Haseena Rajput, a teacher and organiser of the charity fundraiser at WSFG, without whom the fundraising activities that the school has participated in would not have been such a success.
